Miguel Martínez Youngs

I am a lifelong Rhode Islander and a renter who has watched rents skyrocket and neighbors disappear. I have spent three and a half years inside city hall writing the laws and analyzing the contracts that shape daily life. We can grow, preserve what makes us beautiful, and still be a city working people can afford to call home.

I will serve everyone in this ward and fight for all of it. This city has had enough people who are better at talking about the job than doing it. I show up. I do the work. I tell the truth. That is what I am asking you to let me do for Ward 1.
